Born and raised in Arad, Romania, Anca Putin spent most of her childhood as an aerobic gymnast. In 2008, after moving to Toronto, Canada, Anca started her dance training and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School. Anca has always been surrounded by art, whether it be performance or visual art and upon graduation she began illustrating as AT Designs.
