What it is: A solid beech wood frame with a deep-set profile (also called a shadow box) that casts a soft shadow around your needlepoint and gives it depth.

Details: Solid beech wood with a narrow moulding and a 4-ply mat board. Mounted with acid-free foam board and paper tape, the way professional framers do it. Six sizes, from 14x14 cm (5.5x5.5 in) to 20x28 cm (8x11 in).

Best For: Turning a finished canvas into wall art, framing a stitched gift so it arrives ready to hang, and anyone who likes a modern, gallery look.

Pairs Well With: Any of our needlepoint kits. Add acrylic with UV protection to keep colors bright.

How to choose your size: pick the option that matches the design size of your needlepoint (not the full canvas). You'll find every measurement in the tab below and in the product images.

You can remove the deep-set profile if you prefer a flat look, and add glass later if you wish. Our step-by-step guide shows how to frame your needlepoint at home.

The artwork size that you want to frame will dictate the frame size you need to buy.

Please note: the mat will cover around 5 mm (1/5 in) of the height & width of the canvas size. I.e., If the canvas has 200 mm width, then the visible area will be 195 mm. This way you don't need to stitch extra rows to make sure that you won't have blank canvas showing up.

Every frames comes with a Mounting kit containing:

- flyer with QR code for your video tutorial on how to frame your needlepoint (watch it here)

- hanging hardware: 2 different types at your choice!

- hemline pins to mount your needlepoint piece onto the backing foam board

- special framing paper tape to isolate the back of frame & protect your artwork from dust & moisture

- silicone bumper pads for an extra touch of quality

As our frames are made of solid wood, they are not lightweight. Unfortunately, this increases slightly the shipping cost to make them arrive to you.
