What it is: Everything you need to turn your stitched canvas into a round Christmas ornament at home, with a professional-looking finish and no finishing service needed.

Details: Pre-cut 4-ply acid-free mat boards, 10.5 cm (4 in) round, plus 15x15 cm (6x6 in) polyester batting squares. Every option has enough mat board and batting for 2 ornaments.

Best For: Stitchers finishing their first ornament, anyone who'd rather not pay for professional finishing, and a thoughtful add-on to an ornament kit gift.

Choose your option:

Mat + Batting: 4 pre-cut round mat boards (front and back for 2 ornaments) and 4 squares of filling batting. Ideal if you already have the tools.
Mat + Batting + Textile Glue + Pins: everything above, plus Gütermann HT2 textile glue and sewing ball pins, packed in our small cotton drawstring bag.
Full Finishing Kit: everything above, plus invisible thread and Bohin sewing needles, so you can sew your cording on instead of gluing it. Packed in our small cotton drawstring bag.

Not included: pick your backing fabric and cording

Backing fabric and cording are sold separately, so you can choose the colors that suit your design. You'll also need your stitched ornament canvas and a pair of scissors.

Backing fabric: our premium velvet for backing comes in a range of colors, from Deep Sea Green and Ruby to Old Rose and Navy. Choose the 15x15 cm (6x6 in) size: one square backs one ornament.
Cording: make your own with DMC Pearl Cotton #3. One skein makes the cording for one ornament of about 10–12 cm (4–5 in); combine two colors for a two-tone cord.
