Needlepoint Zweigart Penelope 'Antique Brown' Canvas
What it is: Zweigart Penelope canvas in a warm 'antique' brown, for counted designs where the canvas itself is part of the look.
Details: Double-threaded (Penelope) canvas, 10 mesh (10 holes per inch), 100% cotton, antique brown. Sizes: X-Small 40x30 cm (15x12 in), Small 60x50 cm (23x20 in), Medium 90x50 cm (35x20 in) and Large 90x100 cm (35x40 in). Need a different size? Just message us and we'll cut it for you. Canvas is folded to fit an envelope for shipping, not sent in a tube.
Best For: Counted and charted designs, and pieces where you leave the background unstitched to show off the brown canvas (see the last product photo).
Pairs Well With: Our digital charts, stretcher frames and threads. Learn how to read a needlepoint chart and which threads to use for each canvas mesh.
Mesh (or count) is the number of holes per inch: the lower the number, the bigger the holes and the quicker you stitch; the higher the number, the finer the detail and the more time each piece takes.
Let the canvas show: stitch only what matters.
