Desert Calm Needlepoint Cushion Kit
This design is an invitation to escape the chaos. Created by the amazingly talented Vika Pro, an embroidery artist who shares our passion for stitching beautiful landscapes, "Desert Calm" evokes the tranquility of the desert with simple shapes and serene earthy tones.
There's no better way to pause and take a deep breath than to make this project come alive - its beauty lies in its graceful simplicity.
Printed in a 10 holes per inch canvas, this is the perfect project for a beginner, that is looking for an easy way to unwind and create a lovely home decor piece!
- Time to stitch: approximately 40 hours
- Choose here your own finishing materials and finish this project in the way that best suits your taste.
- Original artwork printed in premium Zweigart Interlock canvas, with edges sewed with cotton bias tape
- 2 John James tapestry needles
- Flyer with the color threads mapping so you can start stitching quickly.
- Threads with enough quantity to stitch with the continental tent stitch (more information in the Product FAQ's; if you need more thread, leave a note at checkout - we offer you all the thread needed without extra cost!).
- Needlepoint booklet with instructions on starting needlepoint, tips for selecting needlepoint stitches, and a library of favorite stitches.

Other considerations:
- This is a needlepoint kit and therefore does not include cushion pad, backing fabric, zip or piping.
- The colors of the printed canvas and threads may vary a little from what you see on your monitor.

If you want to finish your project by yourself, you can also buy the materials needed with the option "Complete Kit with Finishing Materials". This includes:
- All the items from the complete needlepoint kit described above
- A soft and luxurious velvet backing fabric with an invisible zipper already sewed on. The colors of these materials are the ones shown in the product picture.

Please note that we need 1 week to process cushion with finishing materials, as the backing with zipper sewed is made to order.
SINGLE PACKAGING FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS:
To be more sustainable, we consciously try to reduce the amount of materials used in packaging.
When buying more than one kit or canvas, we will always try to fit them into a single packaging tube or box that best fits their size, and as they are for the same person we will only include 1 printed needlepoint booklet.
However, if you add a gift message at checkout, select the gift wrapping option, or let us know in advance that you are buying a gift, we make sure that all kits are shipped in individual packaging.
