Amy King is a surface designer who grew up in London, England, but has been based in New York for many years. She has designed primarily for children’s clothing and products and would consider her style to be modern with a whimsical twist.
She is inspired by the work of Picasso, Alex Katz, Matisse, Paul Rand, Alexander Girard and Scandinavian design. In her spare time she likes to do collage artwork, weaving and assorted arts and crafts projects.
Her favorite color is orange.
