When you buy the “Printed canvas only” option, all the above is included except the threads, and just a single needle. It’s the perfect option if you want to create your own color variation, or re-use threads and yarn you might have at home!

To be moresustainable, we consciously try to reduce the amount of materials used in packaging.
When buying more than one kit or canvas, we will always try to fit them into a single packaging tube or box that best fits their size, and as they are for the same person we will only include 1 printed needlepoint booklet.
However, if you buy a gift wrapping or add an order note at checkout letting us know that you are buying a gift, we make sure that the kits are shipped in individual packaging.

This was my first more complicated design and I learned so much as an advanced beginner! I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone, but I do recommend careful review and prep first if you're not an experienced stitcher.
I used continental stitch for the entire design and I made a lot of mistakes as I worked on it, so I really appreciated having extra thread (which I requested in my order) from Unwind because I could rip out the mistakes and stitch it again.
In retrospect, before I started, I should have identified which color from the kit was which, identified those locations on the canvas, and used a knitting light/good lighting because it was hard to see the difference between dark blue and medium blue on the canvas without bright lighting.
Some of the intersections were not perfectly precisely printed, which was a little frustrating (but also made the canvas more affordable!), but my mistake was that I should have learned how to use the stitch guide grid and followed it more closely.
A fantastic learning experience.
Haven’t had a chance to start yet, but I love this pattern.
The other kits I completed were fun, and the guides and video tutorials were helpful and easy to follow.
The painted canvas didn’t match the stitch chart so as someone brand new to needlepoint that was very frustrating and made this difficult. Shipping also took a while.
This bookmark is beautiful and absolutely the perfect image to take along on my next trip -- to Antarctica where I might experience a few big waves of my own (hopefully not THIS big!). I will definately to back to shop for more special pieces.

Overall, it would be awesome to see recommended stitches based on your canvas design. For instance, just there are examples given based on a difficulty level of different stitches in the manual, it would be awesome to see recommended stitches that would look pretty on a certain design. For example: " for this design we recommend following...". Those suggestions could also be broken down into difficulty level or simply referenced in a manual.
